Course Overview

CPR/AED/First Aid training prepares participants to recognize common medical emergencies, activate emergency response, and provide immediate care until professional help arrives. The course combines instruction with guided hands-on practice so participants do more than simply watch a presentation.

Training can include:

  • Adult, child, and infant CPR
  • Automated external defibrillator (AED) use
  • Choking response for conscious and unresponsive patients
  • Recognition of sudden cardiac arrest and other medical emergencies
  • First aid for injuries and sudden illness
  • Scene safety, activating EMS, and working with bystanders
  • Hands-on skill practice and required skills evaluation

For workplace and group classes, Steel Water can incorporate realistic discussion and scenarios that reflect the client’s environment.
